A very romantic place!
Me and my husband had a perfect holiday at this chic yet cosy hotel. Como is absoluetly charming, rivalizing with Firenze and Venecia but far more pleasant, far away from the hords of tourists. There is no doubt that we will recommend this place!
Wonderful Hotel for so many reasons
We stayed at the Barchetta in august 2012. What can I say about this wonderful hotel which hasnt already been said. Great service, great location and, most of all, great on-site resources like wi-fi, shopping and a superb restaurant. Whats more, Barchetta is located in the very heart of Como.
It doesnt get any more central than this. Breathtaking vistas from our room, which was very clean and elegant looking. Many languages spoken by the hotel staff. In the short time we spent in the lobby area, we heard staff members speaking english and french without problem to the patrons.
We particularly liked the computer access on the main floor, although it would have been even more practical to offer this service free of charge. Granted, with so many great things to rave about and so few complaints, we will definitely be back in this majestic hotel next time we visit Como.
Comapred to the three-start hotel, mini barchetta, located at the top of the hill, it is not hard to understand what makes this special place stand apart. Mini barchetta was sleezy-looking and had little to no services. No wi-fi, no laundry services, no breakfast. Oh well, live and learn I guess!

Second Time At The Barchetta-Both Times Fantasic
This was the second time I had stayed at the Barchetta. The staff treated me like family and the accomodations and the food were absolutely superb. I love this place and cannot wait to return. I would like to thank all of you for an unforgetable experience. Nick
