Our first visit to Italy. The Hotel Barchetta was wonderful and the staff we met, Salvatore, Elisa and Christian were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed Como and the surrounding area very much. Highly recommended in every respect.

I was delighted with my recent stay at the Hotel Barchetta Excelsior.
Firstly, the communication from hotel staff was excellent at all times, from the time that the reservation was first made through to checkout. I appreciated the various personalised e-mails from reception staff containing suggestions (eg re the chauffeur service) and confirmations - these indicated to me that the organisation of my stay was important to them.
Secondly, the central location near the square and the harbour was ideal for exploring both the city and the lake.
Thirdly, my Suite was very spacious, quiet, and with that amazing view, just like on the website.
Lastly, all staff I encountered in the Hotel reception, restaurants and bar, as well as the recommended chauffeur service, were friendly and helpful.

Always very satisfied
We have been coming to Como every year; one of the big reasons is your hotel's warm hospitality and kind staffs always gentle and clinet-oriented as well as efficient.
We feel as if we stay at good friend's home.
We really appreciate efforts of management and contribution of team staffs for the improvement of service.

Amazing view of the lake, great staff

I stayed in your hotel for three nights and was very happy with the wonderful lake view room. It was on the 4th floor with a balcony and an impressive view of the lake. Sadly the weather turned bad after the first day, but with the sun shining your lake has no comparison. The staff were very friendly and professional. We also tasted the local cuisine and found the restaurant very nice too. Great cocktail bar !!! Hoping to see you again in the future, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
